I’m a research assistant and a PhD candidate at Fusion Group, University of Jena. My research interests focus on adaptation, user modeling, HCI, usability, information visualization, semantic web, and next generation web portals. In the context of Minerva project, I’m focusing on:

I received my M.Eng. in Information Management from Asian Institute of Technology in 2007. I did part of my master's study as an exchange student at DERI Innsbruck (now STI Innsbruck), where I also wrote my master's thesis and got hands on semantic web technology. I received my B.Eng. from Kyrgyz National University in 2002.

Between my bachelor and master studies, I was working as an Information Systems Manager at the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic. Also in that period, I took Certified Course on Web Design at New-Horizons Computer Learning Center in New Delhi, a course on Knowledge Management at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and participated in the U.S. International Visitors Program.
